Brookland’s love of old and interesting buildings shows through with the acquisition of Tolsons Mill, Fazeley. We plan to fully renovate this grade 2 listed building to create 51 apartments and 11 town houses. Construction work is due to start in September 2020.
Oakland owns the Royal Hotel site in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire. The site has consent for the renovation and extension of the existing grade 2 listed Royal Hotel. Plans have also been submitted for a new ‘terrace’ building consisting of 30no 1 and 2 bedroomed apartments, a 2000ft2 single storey office building, a café kiosk and a 66 bed carehome. The investment is strategically important for Brookland, as it fulfils both its development and investment requirements.
